Kokomo Rescue Mission

Details:

Since 1953, the Kokomo Rescue Mission has been proclaiming the Good News and demonstrating the compassion of Jesus Christ to the homeless, hungry, and hurting in North Central Indiana. It is their mission to see them achieve wholeness through Christ-centered programs and services. Volunteers are the heart of so many of Kokomo Rescue Mission’s outreach programs … and we’d love to have you join them! Whether you help serve a meal, prepare items for Red Ribbon Christmas Boxes, or assist with office tasks, it’s ALL important to spreading help and hope in our community. (Age requirements vary for the different opportunities).

Serve a Meal: This could be an opportunity for the whole family! Age requirement for serving the kitchen is 11 years old. Grab the family & some friends to take over the kitchen and serve a meal!

Red Ribbon Christmas Boxes: Believe it or not, Christmas at KRM is a YEAR-round production. Throughout the year, they need volunteers to help sort & clean through donated toys.

Office Tasks: Do you want to learn more about the behind the scenes tasks at KRM? This is a great opportunity to find findout!
