Carmel Youth Assistance Program

Details:

Carmel Youth Assistance Program (CYAP) was formed in 2015 to help strengthen youth and families through community involvement. Local volunteers develop and provide access to programs and services that promote positive growth experiences and enhance home and community relationships. Carmel Youth Assistance Program (CYAP) works in collaboration with the Carmel Clay School District, City of Carmel, and Hamilton County Superior Court. CYAP is one of six offices serving students and their families in Hamilton County, Indiana. CYAP connects families and youth to various resources including mentoring, tutoring, mental health support, food and clothing assistance, financial assistance and much more! We believe as the church we should link arms with those in the community that are working to meet needs we would otherwise be unaware of. This partnership with CYAP is the start of becoming aware of what those needs are and how we as a church can better come alongside them and support their efforts through relationships and serving.

CYAP has volunteer opportunities available throughout the year. Serving opportunities include:

  • Assisting with Carmel Summer Meals
  • Mentoring
  • Tutoring
  • Joining a committee
