Our mission at Northview is to make Jesus known, and our group’s mission is to do so through biblically focused, transformational communities that help people connect relationally, grow spiritually, and live out their faith generously. Our ultimate calling is to make disciples who make disciples. Therefore, we focus on spiritual formation through biblically centered, Holy Spirit-led, intentional discipleship in groups guided by well-trained and supported leaders.
One of the most important roles of our Northview Campus Adult Ministry Teams is to identify and develop our leaders to be skilled, prepared, equipped, and confident in leading, shepherding, and facilitating their groups. We provide personalized group launch training and offer all leaders ongoing opportunities for learning, support, encouragement, and coaching to help them grow in their calling. We cover all these efforts in prayer!
We do this because we know the success of any group at Northview depends entirely on its leader, including their leadership qualities, abilities, and training. Leading a group is one of our church's most vital roles in fostering our congregation’s spiritual growth and discipleship. It is a noble calling and a significant responsibility. Those called to lead, facilitate, shepherd, care for, and support group members should uphold Northview Church’s mission, beliefs, values, and core tenets of faith. They are also willing to commit to our Group Leader Covenant.
If you feel called to start a new group, or are unsure and would like to speak with a member of our Adult Ministry Team, please complete the form below and provide as much detail as possible (All of this will be reviewed with you and can be adjusted later).
