God Is With Us: Letting Go and Giving it to God
I’m clinging to the horizon of hope that this season shall soon pass. We are all in this together, and ministry hasn’t stopped!

With that in mind, I want to share with you a verse of Scripture that has spoken to me over and over again in this season. It’s found in Isaiah 41:10 (NIV). It says, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

I would love for you to pay attention to the language used in this verse. Over and over again, God declares who HE is. I don’t know about you, but when crisis strikes, my immediate response—if I’m being honest—is to fix it, to take care of it, to salvage the situation however possible. But that is not God’s heart. So, if you find yourself in this season just holding on, trying to make IT—whatever IT is—work, let go. Give it to God. I don’t say that in a passive, cliché Christian way. I mean it.

This truth comes straight from Scripture. Read the verse again. God says:

I AM with you.

I AM your God.

I WILL strengthen you.

I WILL help you.

I WILL uphold you with my righteous right hand.

He is. He is. He will. He will. He will. Give Him your hurt. Give Him your anxiety. Give Him your weakness. Don’t feel like you have to hold it all together in this season. Our God is big enough, strong enough and gracious enough to take on all the feelings we’re feeling and good enough to provide us peace in the midst of uncertainty. He is THAT good. I hope this word encourages you, friend.
